Terms of Service
Last updated — March 14, 2026
Agreement
By using Krill.to ("Krill", "the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
What Krill does
Krill is a bookmark management tool for Twitter/X. It provides a Chrome extension to save tweets and a web dashboard to search, organize, and interact with your saved bookmarks using AI.
Your account
You need an account to use Krill. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for abusive purposes.
Your content
You retain ownership of all notes, highlights, and other content you create in Krill. Tweet content you save via the extension is publicly available content from X — you are responsible for ensuring your use of saved content complies with X's terms of service.
By using Krill, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as needed to provide the service — including sending bookmark content to AI services for categorization, embedding generation, and chat features.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Krill to scrape, redistribute, or commercially exploit tweet content in bulk
- Attempt to access other users' data or circumvent security measures
- Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of X's terms of service
- Abuse the AI chat feature by sending harmful, abusive, or exploitative prompts
- Overload the service with automated requests beyond normal personal use
AI features
Krill uses Google Gemini to power AI categorization, semantic search, and chat. AI-generated responses are based on your saved bookmarks and may not always be accurate. You should not rely on AI outputs as authoritative or factual without verification.
Bookmark content is sent to Google Gemini for processing. By using AI features, you consent to this data transfer.
Chrome extension
The Krill Chrome extension operates on x.com and twitter.com. It modifies the page to add a save button to tweets. The extension requires permission to read page content on these sites to extract tweet data when you choose to save.
Installing and using the extension is optional. You can remove it at any time through your browser settings.
Service availability
We aim to keep Krill available and reliable, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
Features may change over time. We may add, modify, or remove features as the product evolves.
Limitation of liability
Krill is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, inaccurate AI outputs, or service interruptions.
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
You can stop using Krill and delete your account at any time. Upon account deletion, all your stored data (bookmarks, notes, highlights, collections, chat history) will be permanently removed.
We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these terms, with or without notice.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Krill after changes constitutes acceptance. For significant changes, we will provide notice via email or in-app notification.
